Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On September 2, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tasha Alexander met with Center Director Paula Zimmerman for a 10 day initial visit to discuss the above complaint allegation. Upon arrival there are 41 preschool age children present throughout 3 classrooms along with 5 staff. Today an interview was conducted with the director, a tour of the preschool classrooms and playgrounds were conducted and a preschool facility roster was requested and receieved. During a tour of the discovery room (2's room) LPA noticed the classroom had a minimal amount of toys for children available. Based on LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1, are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D. An exit interview was conducted with center director Paula Zimmerman
