What the inspector wrote

On 06/01/2023 at 11:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Initial Complaint Investigation at Danville Montessori School. LPA met with Co-Director, Christopher LaBasco, and explained the purpose of today's investigation. During today's inspection, there were 24 children in care with 5 staff inculding the Director and 35 children enrolled. Finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Staff are not allowing day care child's responsible party to enter and inspect the child care center. During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records and conducted interviews. It was determined that facility is not allowing parents/authorized representative's inside the facility while children are in care.Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page. Exit interview was conducted with Co- Director Christopher LaBasco. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
