Operation of a Family Child Care Home. The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not be limited to: Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, firearms and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where they are inaccessible to children. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: LPA observed cleaning products in unlocked cabinets under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks which poses a potential risk to children in care.

Pool covers shall be strong enough to completely support the weight of an adult and shall be placed on the pool and locked while the pool is not in use. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: hot tub cover was not properly latched and locked which poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
