What the inspector wrote

On 8/4/23 Licensing Program Analyst [LPA] Monica Mathur conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction [POC] inspection at Love and Care Learning Center (infant program). LPA met with Director, Jessica Darabi, Assistant Director, Rofelia Reyes and explained the purpose of today's inspection which is to clear citations issued during required inspection on 7/31/23. On 7/31/23 Two citations were issued during an annual/random inspection, noted below:. 1. Staff-Infant Ratio during naptime: 1 staff supervising 15 napping infants 2. Sleep Log for all infants: not maintained for ages 12-24 months Today, Director Jessica stated they have made changes to infant nap time supervision. Now two staff are present at all times when there are more than 12 infants napping in a room. They started documenting 15 minute checks on Sleep Logs for infants 12-24 months in addition to 0-12 months. LPA reviewed the sleep logs for all infants. Facility is in compliance with above regulations and citations issued on 7/31/23 were cleared during today's inspection. Letter of Clearance was provided. No deficiencies were cited today. Exit Interview was conducted, where this report was reviewed with Director, Jessica Darabi and Assistant Director, Rofelia Reyes. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED, AND MUST BE POSTED ON OR ADJACENT TO THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE MAIN DOOR INTO THE FACILITY FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
