What the inspector wrote

On 01/21/2026 at 9:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Case Management Inspection at Contra Costa County CSD - George Miller Illch Center. LPA met with Asst Director,Linda Frazier-Stafford and explained the purpose of today's inspection. Site Supervisor III, Ruth Hunter was not present during today's inspection. During today's inspection, there were 101 preschool children with 24 staff in nine classrooms. Asst Director stated there are 149 preschool children enrolled. LPA is following up on an self reported Unusual Incident Report submitted to licensing on 01/14/2026. LPA toured the facility, observed classrooms, and conducted interviews. LPA has determined that facility was in compliance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22. LPA also informed the Asst Director that the Director's packet is required to be submitted to licensing so the correct Director's information is on file. Asst Director stated they will inform their representative to resubmit required paperwork for Director of this facility. During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Asst Director, Linda Frazier-Stafford. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
