Routine inspection (3-year)·January 16, 2026

On January 16, 2026 at 12:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nyeesha Blount met with Licensee Quintana, Rebecca and assistant Hernandez Funes, Alicia who is background cleared. There were (8) children present during the time of the inspection. The facility\342\200\231s operating hours are Monday- Friday 8:00AM to 6:00PM, LPA toured all on limits areas of the facility for health and safety inspection. All required postings are posted in the entry way of the day care room. The home is a Two level consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, (3) bedrooms, (2) bathrooms, fenced back yard, and garage. The home is neat and clean and has central heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. All hazardous materials and toxins are stored away inaccessible to children in care at the time of the inspection. There is sufficient amount of age appropriate furnishings, toys, books and learning materials available. The day care is equipped with a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector and working carbon monoxide detector. Pediatric CPR and First Aid are current and will expire on November 2027 ON LIMIT AREAS: will be (1) upstairs bedroom (napping room), spare room, (1) bathroom, converted garage (classroom) and fenced back yard. OFF LIMIT AREAS: will be the kitchen, living room, dining room, (1) bathroom, (2) bedrooms with gates or latches made inaccessible to children in care. OUTDOOR SPACE: The fenced backyard is the outdoor space. The entire area was inspected to ensure the health and safety of the area. All play structures are properly secured. There are no pools, hot tubs, or any other bodies of water on the premises during today's inspection. ISOLATION AREA: will be in the spare room downstairs. LPA reviewed with licensee the LIC 311D, Forms/Records To Keep In Your Family Child Care Homes, children\342\200\231s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted. Entrance Checklist was provided to the Licensee.. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. To receive important licensed-related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. During the exit interview, the LICENSEE Quintana, Rebeca. confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Licensee was reminded about importance to stay in compliance with mandated reporter training and maintenance of sleep logs for all infants in care . No Deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Quintana, Rebeca.
