On 02/25/2025 at 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Kareeca \342\200\234Reeca\342\200\235 Sykes conducted a Case Management Inspection for Jacqueline & Betty Higgs Large Family Childcare Home. During today's inspection, there was three (3) children in care (3 preschool aged children). Licensee stated there are 10 children enrolled. All persons present and caring for children have Criminal Record Clearance. LPA is following up on a citation given to the facility on 02/12/2025 for Uncleared Adult Living in the facility. On 02/04/2025, LPA observed Licensee's adult child "Jovan Higgs" who is not fingerprint cleared living in the home while children were in care. During today's inspection, LPA toured the facility, and did not observe any uncleared adults in the home. Licensee stated adult son "Jovan Higgs" no longer is living in the home until fingerprint clearance has been approved. LPA did check the status of Licensee's Uncleared adult son "Jovan Higgs" which is still "In Process". Licensee has completed and submitted all plan of corrections. AS OF 02/25/2025, ALL PLAN OF CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN CLEARED AND LICENSEE RECEIVED CLEARANCE LETTER. There were no regulatory violations observed during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Jacqueline Higgs. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
