What the inspector wrote

*THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT* On 02/09/2024 at 9:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Baby Yale Academy. LPA met with Director Chelsea Stroughter and explained the purpose of investigation. During today’s inspection, there were no school age children present and 1 staff. Director stated 24 school age children enrolled. Finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Facility staff does not pick up day care students from school on a timely basis. During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records and conducted interviews. It was determined that from July 2023 to January 2024, the facility has picked up C1 and C2 late from school 5 times and about 15 to 30 minutes late. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Chelsea Stroughter. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
