What the inspector wrote

On 05/15/2025 at 9:20 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Baby Yale Academy. LPA met with Assistant Jalynn Quarello and explained purpose of investigation. During today's inspection, there were no school age children in care. Director stated there are 15 school age children enrolled. Finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Staff did not provide adequate supervision to prevent children from fighting. During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records and conducted interviews. It was determined that S1 did not provide adequate supervision for C1, C3 and C4 and subsquently, an incident occured when C3 and C4 kicked C1 and C1 kicked C3. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page. Exit interview was conducted with Assistant Director, Jalynn Quarello. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS
