What the inspector wrote

On 01/18/2024 at 10:15 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), A. Curry conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. LPA met with the Director, Nicole Neely, to explain the purpose of today's visit. LPA toured the facility, retrieved relevant documentation, reviewed files, and conducted interviews with staff and children. Based on information gathered through interviews, it was revealed that two Aids are left alone with children while the lead teacher takes a break. (See 809D). The director was reminded that Aids shall only work under direct supervison of a fully qualified teacher except when children are napping or when assisting children in the bathroom. The interviews also revealed staff are commingling infant, preschool, and school age children (See 809D). Exit interview conducted, appeal rights were given, and report was reviewed with the Director, Nicole Neely and Owner, Srivasu Kakarla.
