What the inspector wrote

On 04/10/2024 at 12:10 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted a Case Management Inspection at Baby Yale Academy - Harvest Park. LPA met with Director, Deborah Bryson and explained the purpose of today's visit. During today's inspection, there were 18 preschool children with 2 staff in one classroom. Director stated there are # preschool children enrolled. Staff caring and supervising preschool children have Criminal Record Clearance. LPA is following up on an self reported Unusual Incident Report submitted to licensing on 03/26/2024. LPA toured the facility, observed classrooms, reviewed files, conducted interviews and obtained relevant documents. LPA reminded the Director that children are required to be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. LPA also reminded the Director that prior to staff working in a child care facility, a Criminal Record Clearance transfer should be requested and staff associated to the facility. LPA has determined that facility was in compliance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22. During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Director,Deborah Bryson. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
