What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cherie Acosta conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure compliance with AB2866 pool safety requirements. LPA met with licensee Leslie Ramirez. There were 5 preschool aged child in care. LPA observed licensee to be incompliance with AB2866 pool safety requirements today. The pool is completely enclosed with a secure 5 foot fence that has a gate that opens away from the pool. The gate has a key lockable device. The enclosure has a maximum vertical clearance of 2 inches from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure. LPA did not observe objects which could be used as a foothold that could enable a child to climb over the fence. Citations issued on 7/11/25 are cleared today. Notice of Site Visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview and report reviewed with Leslie Ramirez.
