What the inspector wrote

On November 6, 2025 at 08:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nyeesha Blount met with Licensee Bolden-Kramer, Rachel and (1) assistant who is background cleared for an unannounced random annual inspection. There were (2) infants, (4) preschool age children present during the time of the inspection. The facility’s operating hours are Monday - Friday 7:00AM 6:00PM. LPA toured all on limits areas of the facility for health and safety inspection. All required postings are posted on the wall to the right of the front door. The home is a Two story home, which consist of a living room, (2) dining rooms, kitchen,(4) bedrooms, (2 1/2) bathrooms, fenced front and backyard and garage. The day care is neat and clean and has central heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are enough age appropriate furnishings, toys, books and learning materials available. Applicants states there is no weapons in the home. All hazardous materials and toxins were observed to be inaccessible to children today, Knives were stored in an upper cabinet. The day care is equipped with (1) fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, and working carbon monoxide detector. Pediatric CPR and First Aid are current and will expired on April 10, 2026. ON LIMIT: will be day care classroom, back of living room, 1/2 bathroom, fenced front yard and fenced lower yard. OFF LIMIT: will be the entire second floor (4) bedrooms, (2) bathrooms, dining room, laundry room, and garage secured with gates and latches made inaccessible to the children in care. OUTDOOR SPACE: The entire area was inspected to ensure the health and safety of the area. play structures are properly secured. There are no pools, hot tubs, or any other bodies of water on the premises during today's inspection. ISOLATION AREA: will be in a section of the living room.. LPA reviewed with applicant, the LIC 311D, Forms/Records To Keep In Your Family Child Care Homes, children’s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted Entrance Checklist was provided to the applicant. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with applicant and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed [applicant} of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. During the exit interview, the LICENSEE Bolden-Kramer, Rachel. confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Licensee was reminded about importance to stay in compliance with mandated reporter training and maintenance of sleep logs for all infants in care . No Deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Bolden-Kramer, Rachel.
