What the inspector wrote

On 10/28/2025 at 4:35 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Kiddie Academy. LPA met with Director, Abadat "Abi" Khan and delivered the findings for the above allegation. During today's inspection, there were 45 preschool children in care with 4 staff in 4 classrooms. Director stated there are 55 preschool children enrolled. Complainant alleges that Facility is operating out of ratio compliance. During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records and conducted interviews. It was determined that facility has been out of ratio on multiple occasions during drop off, nap time and pick up from Feburary 2025 to present for a period between 5 -10 minutes. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page. Exit interview was conducted with. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
