What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst Tasha Alexander met today with center owner Melissa Cady and Center Director Hailey Daughrity in regards to the above complaint allegation. Upon arrival there are 29 preschool age children present along with 3 teachers and 1 aide separated into 2 groups, The Cherryblossoms and Sunflowers. The Cherryblossoms have 12 children, 1 teacher and 1 aide. The Sunflowers have 17 children, and 2 teachers. Today an interview was conducted with Mrs. Cady and Mrs. Daughrity, a tour of the facility's play yard was conducted and the facility's video footage was also reviewed. During today's tour of the play yard, LPA observed the cushioning under the play structure to be cracked and exposing the cement/rock beneath. The storage cabinet is missing a door and other doors appear to be loose. Some toys/play kitchens need to be appeared to be covered in dirt and need to be cleaned. LPA did not observe any poisnous flowers or plants on the premesis. Based on LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted and record reviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations,Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1, are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D AN EXIT INTERVIEW WAS CONDUCTED A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS POSTED.

THIS REQUIREMENT WAS NOT MET AS EVIDENCED BY A TOUR OF THE PLAY YARD WHICH REVEALED THE STORAGE CABINET FOR ART SUPPLIES IS MISSING A DOOR AND THE OTHER DOORS APPEAR TO BE LOOSE, EXPOSING THE PAINTS AND OTHER MATERIALS. THE PLAY KITCHENS ETC. ARE COVERED IN DIRT/DEBRI AND NEED TO BE CLEANED.
