The facility has smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fully charged fire extinguishers on site that are serviced annually by Bay Alarm. The facility has a waiver on file for both programs to use the same yard and it's scheduled so that they do not commingle the children. Outdoor play equipment was observed to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. LPA did not observe any bodies of water during this visit. Areas around and/or under climbing equipment and slides have tan bark to absorb falls . The facility provides snacks to the children. The snack menu is posted in all classrooms. The kitchens are clean and made inaccessible to the children in care. All foods brought from the children\342\200\231s home will be properly labeled and stored. All cleaning products are kept away from food and food preparation areas in the kitchen. LPA reviewed 5 preschool aged children's files, 5 school aged children's files, and 9 staff files. At least one opening/closing staff member has a current CPR & First Aid Certificate. The facility uses the Brightwheel app for the children\342\200\231s parents and authorized representatives to sign children in and out of the center. All required postings are made visible in the entry way of the facility. The disaster drills have been complete at least every six months. The last drill was conducted 6/20/2025. On 2/5/2025 the facility was cited for a lead exceedence for outlets B and C. The facility chose to replace and retest the outlets. On 5/8/2025 both outlets passed the lead retest. LPA cleared the deficiency during today's visit. There were no deficiencies cited on today's visit.
