On Thursday, July 6 2023, at 11:06 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Asmita S. Bhargava, Center Director, and Brogan McDermott, Assistant Director, for an unannounced complaint investigation. There are 96 preschool children and 20 staff members including both directors. Interviews were conducted. A child was playing outside on the patio and fell. The child did suffer an injury on the patio. Some interviews reveal that a staff member saw the incident. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged allegation did or did not occur. Based upon the investigation, the complaint allegation is Unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted. Appeal rights were discussed and given. Notice of Site visit must be posted for 30 days.
