On 05/20/2025 at 9:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection at Little Genius Academy. The purpose of today's visit was to serve an Immediate Exclusion Order to for Staff 1 (S1). LPA met with co-owner, Yelena "Lena" Levin. Co-owner Tamara Shek was present via phone call. LPA Watts inquire if S1 was present at the facility today. Owner Lena stated S1 was not present at the facility today. LPA Watts served owner Lena Levin the Immediate Exclusion Order of S1, which is effective today, 05/20/2025. LPA Watts reviewed the contents of the Orders with both owner, Lena Levin and Tamara Shek, who understand the terms and conditions of the Order including the appeal rights that were provided. LPA Watts also informed both owners that the cause of the Immediate Exclusion did not occur at this facility. LPA Watts informed Both owners, Lena Levin and Tamara Shek, that S1 may not be in contact with children and cannot be physically present at any licensed facility. During today's visit, there were no violations observed. Due to issue with LPA's computer, LPA sent report via email and requested owner Lena to send the report back signed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the owner, Lena Levin. Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
