What the inspector wrote

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with director Marie Lasker. Due to conflicting information LPA determined although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with director Marie Lasker.

    101223(a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (3) To be free from... humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature...this requirement was not met as evidenced by: Through interview it was found that a staff member was yelling at children and using a harsh tone when speaking to them which is a potential risk to the health, safety and personal rights of the children in care.
