LPA met with Director Posner,Heather who advised she received a call from a parent on May 31,2023 advising that her child stated that a teacher slapped her in the face ( didn't specify which side of the face) Parent stated she was shocked and didn't think it actually happened, But she just wanted to bring it to the facility's attention. Director stated parent advised her that the child has been telling some little white lies lately ( by telling the staff it was her birthday when it was not). On June 31, 2023 Director had a conversation with Co- teacher Jacqueline Orellana whom was in the room behind a partisan having her lunch. She advised Director that she didn't hear anything like crying or yelling or that any issue had occurred. Director spoke with the teacher Susana whom was really shocked and surprised of hearing the allegation, upon the child arriving to school she ran and sat in Susanna's lap so she could read her a story. Director stated once she received the news she sent her home until able to talk to other staff & herself. LPA spoke with Co Teacher Jacqueline which stated she did not hear any noise or crying, that she and Susanna were both surprised of hearing what happened. LPA was not able to speak with Susanna due to leaving earlier today.Director stated she trust her staff and she doesn't feel as well as the parent that this has occurred, But wanted to be on the safe side by reporting to Licensing,
