Correction check·May 19, 2026

On 05/19/2026 at 1:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted a Plan of Correction inspection at Baby Yale Academy PITT. LPA met with Director, Jennifer Pierre and explained the purpose of this inspection. During today's inspection, there were 5 infant children in care with 3 staff in 1 classroom. Director stated there are 7 infant children enrolled. LPA are following up on 1 Type A citation for a Infant Care Center Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies violation that the facility was cited for on 05/12/2026. Owner, Lita Reeves submitted the plan of correction on 05/13/2026 via email. During today's inspection, LPA reviewed multiple children's file to verify facility has provided parents the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224) form to sign. LPA observed the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report in the children's file. LPA also reminded licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 05/12/2026 that documents a Type A citation(s) to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of cited report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. Also during today's inspection, LPA conducted a physical plant inspection of the infant classroom and LPA did not observe a bouncer in the classroom. As of 05/19/2026, the deficiency has been cleared. A clearance letter has been printed and provided to the Director during today's inspection. During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Jennifer Pierre. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
