Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 10/22/2025 at 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jaleesa Jackson and Morgan Pringle conducted an Unannounced Case Management visit for a room addition and capacity increase and met with Facility Representative Angelina Aguilar. Licensee Amirh Davis arrived at 10:15AM. LPAs Jackson and Pringle toured the new toddler room. There were no hazardous materials, items, or surfaces observed. The Contra Costa Fire Protection District has approved the new room and increase for child care use on 10/15/2025. LPAs measured the dimensions of the new toddler room and found that the square footage of usable space within the room allows for the accommodation of 6 children. The Licensee is instructed to adhere to these capacity restrictions within the new toddler room at all times. The overall total capacity of the facility will increase to 24 with 18 preschool aged children and 6 toddlers. The following changes need to be made before the room change and increase can be approved. 1. The changing table area needs to be set up in the toddler room. 2. The sink needs to be moved over to the changing area in the toddler room. 3. Materials for the toddlers need to be moved over. The application for the increase of capacity will remain pending until the changes and another visit has been made. Report was reviewed and a notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Amirh Davis.
