What the inspector wrote

On 05/17/2024 at 9:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Case Management - Licensee Initiated for Dianna Pulver's large family child care. Licensee requested for the detached garage to be placed on limits. LPA met with licensee and explained the purpose of this visit. During today's visit, there were no school age children in care. Licensee stated there are 24 school age children enrolled. Licensee stated she provides care and supervision for school age children only. Also present during inspection were licensee's sister, and licensee's adult child. Licensee and all adults living in the home have Criminal Record Clearance. Facility's hours of operation are 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Licensee wanted to add the first floor detach garage as an additional area to supervise and care for children. A fire safety inspection request was required as facility is a large family child care home. Per Inspector Donovan, childcare limited to the first floor - no daycare on second floor of building. Provided permit from building department confirming space as habitable room. During today's inspection, LPA conducted an health and safety inspection for the detach garage. The first floor of detach garage would be use for care and supervising children. All dangerous and hazardous items are out of reach of children or in a latched cabinet inaccessible to children. The second level of the detach garage is off limits. Licensee provided licensing an update facility sketch. As of 05/17/2024, The first floor detach garage is approved for on limit use for children in care. During inspection, there was no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Dianna Pulver. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
