Follow-up on corrections·January 13, 2026

On 01/13/2026, at 3:50 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes conducted a Case Management Inspection. LPA arrived at the facility at 2:10 PM for a unrelated visit and was greeted by S1 who informed LPA that they were an Assistant at the facility. LPA informed S1 of the purpose for the initial visit and was granted entry into the home. At the time LPA observed eight (8) children at the facility (2 infants, 4 preschool children, and 2 school age). S1 contacted the Licensee and informed LPA that the Licensee was down the street at the doctors office and was arriving to the facility shortly. When arriving at the facility at 2:10 PM LPA observed one staff member supervising the children, and when LPA inquired if there were anyone else present in the home which S1 stated not at the moment. LPA, then inquired if S1 could provide the LPA with their current CPR/First Aid certification, which S1 informed LPA that they had not currently had a CPR certification. Approx. 5 minutes later, the Licensee arrived at the facility, which LPA inquired about S1's CPR/First Aid certification which the licensee stated that they were not aware that an assistant had to have a CPR certification to be left alone with children in care.The facility is out of compliance with the California code of regulation, Title 22. LPA had an extensive conversation with the Licensee stating the importance of all staff being left alone with children in care to be CPR/First Aide Certified. LPA Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes informed the Licensee, Janeene Bellot that this report dated 01/13/2026 documents a Type B citation. Type B citation(s) are a potential risk(s) to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. See 809-D for deficiency Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Janeene Bellot. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
