What the inspector wrote

On 05/30/2025 at 1:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted a unannounced Case Management Inspection at Sheila Remolar's large family home. LPA met with licensee, Sheila Remolar and explained the purpose of today's visit. Licensee requested to place the downstairs bedroom on limits. During today inspection, there were 9 children in care (4 infants and 5 preschool aged children) with 2 assistants. Licensee stated there are 11 children enrolled. Licensee and adults caring and supervising children have Criminal Record Clearance. LPA conducted an health and safety inspection for the downstairs bedroom. Licensee stated they were currently using the room as a storage room. LPA observed 2 couches, a drawers, a mounted television with toys and other items in the room. Licensee stated they want to use the room as a nap room for children. LPA informed licensee that the toys and other storage items are required to be removed from the room prior to use. Licensee stated they will clean the room and submit photo evidence to licensing. AS OF 05/30/2025, THE DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM IS NOW PLACED ON LIMITS. During today's inspection, there were no violations observation. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Sheila Remolar. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days..
