What the inspector wrote

On 09/25/2025 at 1:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kayla Merchant conducted an Unannounced Case Management Pool Inspection for Golpar Nosrati's large family child care home. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure compliance with AB2866 pool safety requirements. During today's inspection, there was 8 children in care and 9 children enrolled, and one assistant. Family members residing in the home are licensee, and licensee's husband. All adults in the home have Criminal Record Clearance. Facility hours of operations are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM \342\200\223 5:00 PM. During LPA's previous visit on 8/20/2025, Licensee was cited for not having a pool enclosure that meets AB2866 requirements. During today's visit, LPA observed a pool that is fully enclosed by a gate that opens away from the swimming pool and is self-closing with a self-latching, key lockable device placed no lower than 60 inches above the ground, a minimum height of 60 inches, maximum vertical clearance of two inches from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure, and no gaps or voids that can allow the passage of a sphere with a diameter equal to or greater than four inches. The POC has been cleared and the licensee is now in compliance. Notice of Site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Golpar Nosrati.
