What the inspector wrote

On Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:04 AM, Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Applicant Samar Shakalia and Admissions Director, Deborah Molloy for a case management inspection to measure the preschool component. CAB LPA Colson measured three (3) Preschool classrooms and the updated outdoor play area. A health and safety inspection in all areas accessible to children was conducted. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Classroom measurements: LPA measured three (3) classrooms for the Preschool Component. The total indoor measurements for care and supervision is 2,520.40 square feet which will not accommodate Applicant's request for 80 Preschool children. Outdoor Activity Space: The play area is fenced with walls at least 4 ft high. The play area has cushioning material underneath all outdoor climbing equipment. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Children have access to drinking water and will use their water bottles. The total outdoor play area measurements for the Preschool Component is 7,006.04 square feet which will accommodate Applicant's request for 80 children. The facility is ready to be licensed as a Single License facility.
