On August 12, 2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Indira Loza met with Licensee Beatriz Cruz to conduct an unannounced Case Management - Licensee Initiated inspection for a Capacity Increase. Present during today's visit were the Licensee, Licensee's Assistant Luz Martinez Benitez, and two preschool-aged children. LPA toured the daycare for a Health and Safety check. The home is a one story, single family house consisting of two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, converted garage, fully fenced in backyard, a walkway on both sides of the house, and a storage room in the backyard. The Off Limit Areas are the kitchen, both bedrooms, the walkway on the right of the house (when facing the house from the street), and the storage room in the backyard. The off limits areas are made inaccessible by gate, closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The On Limit Areas are the living room, dining area, the walkway on the left side of the house (when facing the house from the street), bathroom, converted garage, and the entire backyard. Isolation Area - on the couch in the dining area The home is equipped with a fully charged 4A80BC fire extinguisher. There is a working combined smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the living room and the converted garage. On 8/1/25 Fire Inspector B. Pizzimenti granted a fire clearance for the home. Therefore, a license for a large family daycare is being granted effective today, August 12, 2025. Exit Interview conducted. Report provided to Licensee Beatriz Cruz. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
