What the inspector wrote

A Case Management Inspection was conducted on this date 6/13/2023 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Wynn Norona. LPA and LPM met with Director, Anuradha Sala. An application was submitted for a Capacity Increase from 28 preschool aged children to 29 preschool aged children. Facility is adding ROOM 3 as a classroom. The program is currently utilizing Classroom 1 and Classroom 2. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM - 6PM . Present today were 2 additional staff members and 22 napping preschool aged child. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. Measurements were taken and are as follows: INDOORS: 1162.17 square feet = 33 children OUTDOORS: 1665.04 square feet = 22 children There are a total of 2 sinks and 4 toilets available for children use. Facility utilizes one play yard with building overhang and tarps for shade. Drinking water is available inside and outside. Facility provides lunch and AM/PM snacks to children . Menus are posted. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector and fire extinguisher accessible throughout the facility. On today's date, census matches sign in/out logs. An approved Fire Clearance was received on 4/3/2023 from San Ramon Valley Fire Department for 29 preschool aged children. All licensing required documents are posted. Per Director, all Opening and Closing staff have current Pediatric CPR/First Aid. This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. An updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department when any changes are made. The center was found to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. There are no deficiencies cited during today's visit. A license with approval for 29 preschool aged children operating out of 3 classrooms (Classrooms 1, 2 & 3) will be issued effective today, 6/13/2023. An exit interview was conducted with Director, Anuradha Sala.
