What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martinez conducted an unannounced visit regarding an increase in capacity. During today's inspection LPA Martinez conducted a tour inside and outside of the home along side the licensee Elisa Enright. LPA Martinez reviewed files for the licensee and her assistant. During todays inspection three adult files were reviewed. All three adults had updated Mandated Reporter Training on file and updated immunization's. Six child files were reviewed at 9:37AM. All areas accessible to children are the downstairs which include a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen area. Children nap in the bedroom and open area of the dinning room when necessary. The entire upstairs of the home is inaccessible and made inaccessible by gate at the foot of the stairs. There were two fire places in the downstairs of the home but were not in use during today's visit and the licensee stated they are not used during day care hours. The children use the backyard as the play area and the front yard is currently off limits to children in care. The backyard has a in ground pool. The pool has fencing that meets Tittle 22 regulation and is self latching and outward swinging. The licensee conducted her additional Lead Prevention Course on 1/15/22 and will forward the course certificate as soon as it is received. LPA Martinez received the approved increased Fire Clearance to the Department on 1/21/22. LPA provided the Community Care Licensing\342\200\231s website www.ccld.ca.gov , so the Licensee can obtain updated licensing information, new regulations and access forms. LPA advised Licensee of their responsibility to stay current in regards to new regulations. LPA also included the email address for the children's advocacy program to stay current on new laws CHILDCAREADVOCATESPROGRAM@DSS.CA.GOV . No Title 22 Deficiencies observed in the areas that were evaluated. LPA reviewed report with the Licensee and provided copies. Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days.
