Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On November 21st, 2022 at approximately 8:45AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Natalie Dunaway met with Director Robb Staples to open and close a complaint investigation and deliver findings. It was alleged that the facility is operating out of ratio. LPA Marx and LPM Dunaway observed 56 preschool children in care with 11 staff. Based on LPA/LPM’s inspection of the facility, director interview, and record review, the above allegation was found to be SUBSTANTIATED as evidenced by Director stating to LPA/LPM that on Wednesday November 16th the pre-K class was out of ratio due to a high number of staff calling out sick and no substitutes available.Based on LPA and LPMs findings, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore, the above allegations are found to be Substantiated. Title 22 deficiencies are cited on the subsequent page of this report. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted.
