Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

LPA did find that there was some confusion with what was written on the plan and on the e-mail resulting in a discrepancy. LPA investigated the allegation regarding the soiled diaper and found that per the Kindercare corporation policy, each child is changed every two-hours at a minimum with periodic diaper checks in between as well as changed when necessary. LPA could not confirm or deny the child was left in a soiled diaper for a prolonged amount of time. LPA investigated the COVID-19 protocol that the Kindercare Corporation has implemented. Per their regulations (which is also stated on their website) they follow the CDC guidelines and have all adults wear masks, those staff who are vaccinated can remove their masks outside while socially distanced. Children are encouraged to wear them at age 2 and up and it is required for children aged 5 and over. LPA found the facility was in compliance with their regulations. Based on the conflicting information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegation could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegations may have happened (or is valid), there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
