What Happened
Unannounced random infant care inspection. Facility maintained appropriate cleanliness and infant care procedures. Staff documentation gaps identified: 2 of 6 staff lacked current Mandated Reporter training, 4 of 6 staff missing immunization records.
Observations
- Two of six staff members missing current Mandated Reporter training
- Four of six staff members missing immunization records
- Infant bottles properly labeled with child's name and date
- Changing table within arm's reach from sink with proper mat specifications
- Individual Infant Sleeping Plans documented for children under 12 months
- Needs and Services plans in place for each child
- Sleep checks conducted every 15 minutes for children under two years
- Lead testing completed with no lead exceedances
