What the inspector wrote

September 10, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Cortez conducted a Case Management-Deficiencies for the purpose of citing an incident self-reported to the Department of on July 17th which occurred on July 14, 2025. LPA met with Director Veronica Galvan and discussed the A Deficiency assess today. LPA explained to the Director, after interviewing the Aide and records reviewed of her transcripts... LPA discovered: Aide did not have sufficient Early Childhood Education (ECE) units to be left alone without Teacher supervision when caring for children. Which is a violation of : 101216.2 Teacher Aide Qualifications and Duties (e) An aide shall work only under the direct supervision of a teacher. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, with the 809-D was given to the Director. Notice of the site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. See 809-D.
