On 05/28/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx met with Licensee, Cynthia Ursu, for the purpose of an unannounced licensee initiated case management inspection. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Facility hours of operation are: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. The licensee has requested to change the off-limit areas of the family child care home. The facility will operate in the ADU/rec room which contains a main play/activity space, restroom, laundry room, and kitchen. LPA conducted a health and safety inspection of the new on-limit areas and determined it safe for children in care to utilize. LPA observed hazardous items out of reach, a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector within the ADU. LPA reminded licensee that 100% supervision must be maintained in unfenced areas. The new off-limit areas will be the main house, the tool shed, the trailer, and the fenced in horse pasture. The facility will operate in the ADU/rec room and in the outdoor areas other than the horse pasture. The new off-limit areas are effective as of today, May 28, 2025. Exit interview conducted and report reviewed with licensee. A notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
