On 12/11/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Anita Tristan conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA Tristan met with Director, Melanie Weber. LPA toured the facility, and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was regarding an unusual incident that was reported to the Fresno Childcare Regional Office on 11/19/2024. On 11/18/2024 Child #1 playing on the climbing wall slide down pole landing and injuring his right foot. During today\342\200\231s inspection LPA took photos of climbing wall and discussed facilities policies and procedures. Child #1 continues to attend the facility and there have been no further issues. This appears to be an isolated incident and staff took appropriate measures to address Child #1\342\200\231s injury\342\200\231s, followed appropriate policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Melanie Weber. Appeal rights were provided and discussed. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
