Facility-requested visit·August 8, 2024

On 08/08/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez conducted an unannounced inspection that was initiated by licensee (Sanger Unified School District). LPA met with Coordinator Of Early Education, Sandra Olivo, Director of Facility Tiffany Griggs, and Cheif Operations Officer, Jimmy Robles. LPA conducted a walk through of the facility and observed that outdoor activity space was not enclosed as per Regulation Outdoor Activity Space 101238.2(g). The playground shall be enclosed by a fence to protect children and to keep them in the outdoor activity area. The fence shall be at least four feet hig h . LPA observed a section of the fence that is located by the school's nurse classroom that is not fenced and a child can fit through. LPA reviewed findings with Sandra, Tiffany, and Jimmy. LPA contacted LPM Moctezuma via telephone who assisted during the inspections and spoke to Sandra, Tiffany, and Cheif regarding the regulations. As of today, the playground area is to be kept as "OFF LIMITS". Sandra stated that she will follow-up with administration and will contact the department once the outdoor activity space and new play structure is ready for inspection. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 , no deficiency cited. Exit interview conducted with Coordinator of Education, Sandra Olivo.
