On 07/24/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Priscilla Zamudio conducted a case management inspection. LPA met with Director Christina Trujillo and toured the facility inside and outside. The purpose of the visit was to inspect newly arranged classroom #29. LPA took a census and there were 19 preschool children present. This preschool program is located at Hazel M. Bailey Elementary School and operates on a year round and traditional school year schedule with full day and part day options. Classrooms #27, 28, 29 and 30 are full day, Monday \342\200\223 Friday, 7:30a-4:30pm. Classrooms #26 are part day, Monday \342\200\223 Friday, 8:00am \342\200\223 11:30am. Classroom #29 was previously being used for 3 year old children, however, the facility wanted to offer an additional classroom for 2 year olds. There was new furniture and equipment arranged in the classroom. LPA observed Room 29 to have age appropriate furniture, toys, books, and cots for napping. LPA observed a working fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the classroom. LPA observed a drinking fountain inside the classroom, however, it will only be used to refill personal water bottles. The classroom will not be used until the start of the new school year in August. LPA and Director also discussed the Community Care Licensing website www.ccld.ca.gov which will provide access to Provider Information Notices (PINS), Quarterly Updates, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep in Child Care, Lead Poisoning Facts, Forms and Regulations. Per Chapter 1, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, there were no deficiencies observed. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
