On 09/07/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denisia Jimenez arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Case Management inspection. LPA met with Director, Tasha Avalos. LPA toured the facility, and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was regarding an unusual incident that was reported to the Fresno Childcare Regional Office on 08/04/23. On 08/01/23 Child #1 alleged that Staff #1 violated her/his personal rights. Staff and Director were interviewed. LPA and Director discussed facility policies and procedures. Director stated she will be conducting training with all her staff on personal rights of a child, communicating with parents, holding hands, palm and palm, and redirection. This appears to be an isolated incident and staff took appropriate measures to address the staff, following appropriate policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Tasha Avalos.
