Facility-requested visit·December 3, 2021

On December 3, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) met with licensee, Brenda Baldwin. During today's visit, LPA toured the facility, inside and outside. LPA observed eight napping preschool children being supervised by one staff. This inspection was conducted due to licensee has requested a change in capacity for the preschool license. Prior inspection was conducted on October 12, 2021 by LPA Moctezuma. During this inspection, preschool classroom and outside play yard was measured. There was a list of corrections for licensee to correct before today's inspection. The items listed on previous report dated, 10/12/2021 to be corrected, LPA verified correction. An updated granted fire clearance for a capacity of 12 preschool has been received. A request for sharing the outside play yard has been received. The shared outside waiver request will be forwarded to Licensing Program Manager for approval upon returning to the office. Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for a capacity of 12 preschool children. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Veronica Ward. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
