What the inspector wrote

On 03/04/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denisia Jimenez conducted an unannounced case management inspection due to licensee wanting to switch rooms for the daycare children, currently licensee has main home approved for care and now is wanting to replace main home with the garage converted daycare room. LPA was met by Licensee, Sofia Gonzalez (SPANISH Speaking). The purpose of today's inspection is to approve garage conversion made at the residence . LPA observed a table and a sofa. LPA also observed a side door that the licensee stated will be used for child care entrance. Licensee stated she has been waiting for LPA to give her the approval so she can start moving the rest of the age-appropriate toys, cubbies, children\342\200\231s furniture, and children\342\200\231s tables. LPA observed the items in the living room. There is a functioning smoke detector. The garage converted room is approved for day care use. Licensee stated day children will not have access the main home. Licensee submitted a new sketch for the accessible areas in her home. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during today's visit. Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Sofia Gonzalez. A Notice of Site Visit form (LIC 9213) and a copy of the today\342\200\231s report was left. This report shall be made available to the public upon request.
