What the inspector wrote

On February 23, 2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Miguel Herrera and Sha Fee Vang conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Dana Castillo Millan. LPA toured the facility, and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was regarding an Unusual Incident that was self-reported to the Fresno Childcare Regional Office, the incident occurred on 02/11/2026. The incident involved child #1 experiencing a seizure. During today\342\200\231s visit LPA Herrera conducted a records review and interviewed staff. Based on interviews, the child experienced a seizure that required medical treatment. Per Licensee, paramedics and the child\342\200\231s authorized representative were immediately called. The incident involving the child was an isolated incident and licensee took appropriate measures to address the incident, following appropriate policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. Per Licensee Dana Castillo Millan, she is currently working with the child's authorized representative to update medical health records and will work with the child's representative to obtain prescribed medication if required. LPA Herrera discussed the Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy with Licensee Dana Castillo Millan. If an IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS will be submitted to the Department. During today's visit child #1 was present and was actively participating in day-care activities. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Dana Castillo Millan. Appeal rights were provided. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, there are no deficiencies cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
