What the inspector wrote

On 10/7/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Xona Xayavong conducted an unannounced case management \342\200\223 other inspection, that was initiated by licensee. LPA met with Licensee Viridiana Perez. Licensee\342\200\231s husband and assistant were present. LPA toured the inside and outside of the facility, and a census was taken. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the backyard. Licensee provided an updated LIC999A \342\200\223 Facility Sketch Floor Plan. On today\342\200\231s date, LPA observed that the backyard was fenced, and the fence was in good condition. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and equipment. LPA observed a child safety cover on the AC unit and shade was provided by a patio cover. LPA observed the cemented area on the east side of the home was made inaccessible by a gate and padlock. Licensee stated that all barbecue equipment, ladders, and gardening tools will be stored in the enclosed area to ensure children do not have access to them. As of 10/7/2025, the backyard is approved for use by children in care. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. An exit interview was conducted with licensee Viridiana Perez. A copy of this report was provided to the licensee and was reviewed. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. The LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit form is required to be posted for 30 days.
