What the inspector wrote

On 09/24/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Nancy Her and Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez conducted an announced follow up Pre-Licensing inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant Martha Jimenez. The purpose of this inspection is to follow up on corrections from the 07/02/2025 pre-licensing inspection and measure the updated preschool and infant indoor activity spaces. Applicant was originally requesting to be licensed for 130 preschoolers 2 years to 6 years in the preschool classrooms; 16 toddlers ages 18 months to 36 months in the toddler classrooms; and 8 infants ages birth to 24 months in the infant classroom. Applicant is now requesting 23 infants ages birth to 24 months in the infant classrooms and 131 preschool children ages 2 years to 6 years in the preschool 1 and preschool 2 classrooms. During today’s inspection, LPAs measured the updated preschool indoor activity area. The total preschool indoor activity space square footage is 4,116 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate a capacity of 117 preschool children. LPAs measured the updated the infant indoor activity space. The total infant indoor activity space square footage is 728 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate a capacity of 20 preschool children. On 07/02/2025 the following corrections were needed prior to the issuance of the license: · Updated LIC 200A to reflect the changes in capacity due to square footage (68 PS, 47 Toddler, 8 Infant) · The toddler diaper changing table needs to be within arm’s reach of a sink · The preschool play equipment outdoors needs to be anchored · A waiver to share the preschool outdoor area with the toddler component will need to be submitted · Booties need to be in place for the infant room During today's inspection, LPA observed that the following items from the 07/02/2025 inspection were corrected: · The preschool play equipment outdoors are now anchored · Booties are near the infant entrance door · A waiver is no longer required as the applicant is no longer requesting a toddler component The following corrections are now needed prior to the issuance of the license: · A potty chair needs to be purchased and in place for the infant component. · The sleeping area for infants needs a gate · Updated LIC 200A to reflect the changes in capacity due to square footage (117 PS, 20 Infant) · An updated board of resolution regarding the changes Applicant Martha Jimenez understands that all proof of corrections must be provided to the Department within 30 days, or the application may be denied.
