What the inspector wrote

On 6/20/25 @ 8:56am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erica Laird conducted an unannounced inspection. LPA Laird met with licensee Deanna Hamilton. Deanna was supervising 16 children and operating above capacity and ratio requirements. At approximately 9:03am LPA Laird conducted a head count of the children present and determined there were 15 children in the home and no assistant present. At approximately 9:07am another child arrived, making the head count 16. At approximately 9:10am the licensee's assistant (S1) arrived. At approximately 9:14am LPA Laird conducted 16 child file reviews. Upon review LPA Laird determined 6 children were missing immunization records. Based on observations, the following deficiencies are being cited on the attached 809D. 102416.2(a)(3)(C) and 102418(g). Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Deanna Hamilton. Appeal Rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

    (g) The licensee shall document each child's immunizations as required by the California Code of Regulations, Title 17, Section 6070, and shall maintain such documentation for as long as the child is enrolled.This requirement was not as met as evidence by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 6 out of 16 files which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
