Facility-requested visit·June 28, 2023

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Kiriko Lynch and Noah Wheeler conducted a case management inspection on 06/28/2023 at the facility for an increase of capacity. The Department received an application for a capacity increase the capacity from 70 preschool children to 90 children. The facility is adding Classroom #4 to the facility. The facility is a public agency run through Eureka City Schools. LPAs conducted an inspection of the facility inside and outside, and additional room was measured. The new room addition will accommodate the requested capacity of 90 children, and existing exterior space will also accommodate the requested capacity of 90 children. The room addition includes an additional two toilets and two sinks to accommodate the requested increase in capacity. Fire inspection was conducted on 06/12/23 by the local fire authority, and clearance was granted. Facility capacity increase is approved today 06/28/23. Exit interview conducted, Notice of Site Visit posted.
