Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 03/28/2025, at 1:45 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Noah Wheeler and Kiriko Lynch conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with licensee Tyisha Shelley. It was alleged that the facility is not clean and orderly, specifically that the floors are dirty, and the facility smells bad. The licensee was interviewed on 01/16/2025 at 1:30 PM and she stated she is a cheerleading coach and was storing boxes of cheerleading equipment in her front interior area that was going to be moved out after the season. Licensee stated she has a cleaning person who comes by periodically to clean her home. Licensee also stated she was going to clean her outdoor area once the weather gets better. Three parents (P1-P3) were interviewed on 03/27/2025 and all parents stated her facility is clean enough and they do not have any issues with her cheerleading equipment. All parents also stated that their children love coming to care. During today’s inspection, the facility was toured, and LPAs observed the facility was adequately clean and orderly. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Tyisha Shelley. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were provided.
