What the inspector wrote

On 1/24/2024 at 12:15 PM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Thien Dinh and Diana Sanchez conducted an unannounced case management visit in response to the new playground structure installed at the facility. LPA met with Director,Sara Palacios and informed her of the purpose of the visit. There were 0 children and 1 staff present at the time of this visit. LPA conducted an inspection of the newly installed playground structure. The structure is labeled for ages 2-5 years old. The outdoor space is free of hazards including, but not limited to, holes, broken glass and other debris, and dry grasses that pose a fire hazard. The areas around and under high climbing equipment, swings, slides and other similar equipment is cushioned with material that absorbs falls. The playground is enclosed by a fence to protect children and to keep them in the outdoor activity area. The fence is at least four feet high. Facility new playground structure approval is granted for children to use effective as of today. No deficiencies cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director, Sara Palacios. Appeal Rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given to the director, Sara Palacios and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
