What the inspector wrote

On 9/4/24 at 12:40 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection to inspect a playground equipment that has been replaced. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted a tour into the facility by Site Supervisor, Isabel Garcia. There were no children and no staff members present at the time of this inspection. On 12/6/23 LPA Gonzalez received an email from Special Project Director of Calexico Neighborhood House, Ricardo Ortega. The email included a written statement regarding replacing and installing a new playground equipment. The email also stated the anticipated date of completion was March 2024. On 5/9/24 LPA Gonzalez received an email from Mr. Ortega that stated the playground equipment has been installed. The email included pictures of the playground and the appropriate ages. On this date LPA inspected the playground equipment and the playground equipment is safe to use as of today 9/4/24. The playground equipment is cushioned with material that absorbs falls. Ms. Garcia was provided a copy of the appeal rights (LIC 9058). LPA provided notice of site visit (LIC 9213) and observed it being posted at the facility. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. An exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor, Isabel Garcia.
