What the inspector wrote

On 5/3/2023, at 1:15 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of inspecting construction to the playground and new playground equipment. LPA met with Site Supervisor Maria Escobedo and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. LPA toured the inside and outside of the facility. The following ratios were observed: Classroom A had two (2) children present with three (3) staff and Classroom B had seven (7) napping children with two (2) staff. On 4/3/2023, During an inspection, LPA observed construction being conducted on the playground at the facility. LPA was advised by Site Supervisor Maria Escobedo stated that new equipment was being added to the playground. During today's inspection, LPA inspected the playground and observed that additional space is being added in addition to new playground equipment. During today's inspection, LPA observed that the construction is not complete. Site Supervisor is reminded to contact Community Care Licensing prior to utilizing the playground. Site Supervisor Maria Escobedo is reminded that Prior to construction or alterations, the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changes. Site stated that she understood. No deficiencies cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor Maria Escobedo, and a copy of this report, and Notice of Site Visit were provided. Notice of Site Visit is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA observed Notice of Site Visit posted on the board in classroom A.
